Knix store merchandising display with branded graphics and lingerie product presentation.

(About Project)

Knix has built a loyal following in Canada. With the brand expanding into the US, the New York store became its first physical introduction to the market. The SoHo location sits in a neighborhood where storefront design matters. Global fashion brands line the streets, pedestrians move quickly, and every window is competing for a second glance. For Knix, the goal wasn’t simply to install signage — it was to translate the brand into a retail environment that could stand confidently within the SoHo streetscape. Our team handled the production and installation of the exterior storefront signage, window graphics, dimensional branding, and interior visual merchandising elements (including life sized people cut outs and mirrors), ensuring each layer worked together to create a cohesive retail experience.

(Solution)

The approach was to build the storefront in layers — allowing the brand to reveal itself from the street inward. Large-scale window vinyl graphics transform the storefront glass into a bold campaign surface. The imagery introduces the Knix brand directly to pedestrians moving through SoHo while still offering glimpses into the store interior. Dimensional Knix lettering applied to the windows creates a permanent brand presence across the façade — a simple but powerful way to anchor the storefront even as campaigns evolve. A custom exterior flag sign extends from the building, projecting the brand into the street and increasing visibility for people approaching from either direction along the sidewalk. Inside the storefront windows, life-size model cut-outs were installed against mirrored boards. Positioned directly against the glass, these installations interact with the street — reflecting pedestrians, surrounding buildings, and the movement of SoHo itself. The fabrication of these displays required careful engineering. Each full-scale figure needed to stand independently within the window while maintaining a clean silhouette from every viewing angle. Inside the store, dimensional Knix logo signage anchors the reception area, establishing a clear brand moment upon entry. Additional visual merchandising banners and marketing displays throughout the space support product storytelling and reinforce the retail environment.

(Result)

The storefront now reads as a clear Knix moment within the rhythm of the SoHo streetscape. From a distance, the flag sign and window graphics catch attention. Up close, the mirrored displays invite interaction and curiosity from people walking by. Inside, the reception signage and visual merchandising continue the story, carrying the brand deeper into the retail experience. Together, the signage and merchandising layers create a storefront that feels confident, energetic, and unmistakably Knix.

(Signage Insights)

The strongest retail storefronts rarely rely on a single sign. They build presence through multiple layers — graphics, dimensional branding, merchandising installations, and architectural signage working together.

In fast-moving retail environments like SoHo, this layered approach allows brands to capture attention quickly while creating moments that reward a closer look.
