(About Project)
Designed in collaboration with Elsie Home, the clinic interior balances softness and structure — light wood millwork, curved forms, and a restrained material palette create a calm, welcoming environment for patients. The opportunity was to introduce a brand presence that felt elevated and medical without being cold. The reception area, as the first point of contact, needed a logo and sign system that felt intentional, refined, and seamlessly integrated into the architecture rather than applied on top of it.

(Solution)
We designed the clinic’s logo and produced a custom metal reception sign, finished in warm gold to echo the surrounding hardware and lighting details. The sign was carefully scaled and mounted to float subtly off the wall, allowing light and shadow to add depth without visual noise. Material selection and finish were tested through several iterations to ensure the gold felt soft and contemporary — not overly polished or reflective. The result is a sign that reads clearly from the entry point while maintaining a calm, tonal relationship with the millwork, plaster walls, and brass fixtures throughout the space.

(Result)
The completed signage and logo system anchor the reception area with quiet confidence. The gold lettering adds warmth and legibility while reinforcing the clinic’s professional credibility and refined aesthetic. Rather than dominating the space, the signage complements it — guiding patients, reinforcing brand trust, and supporting an experience that feels thoughtful, modern, and composed from the moment you arrive.

(Signage Insights)
Dermatology clinics rely on signage that communicates professionalism, trust, and clarity from the moment a patient arrives. Because medical clinics often operate in shared commercial buildings or busy retail streets, well-designed signage helps patients easily locate the clinic while reinforcing a calm, professional environment.
Effective dermatology clinic signage typically includes:
Exterior storefront or building signage that clearly identifies the clinic and improves visibility from the street
Blade signs or projecting signage that help patients locate the entrance from multiple directions
Reception feature signage that establishes a clear point of arrival and reinforces the clinic’s brand
Wayfinding signage that helps patients move comfortably through treatment rooms and consultation areas
For medical environments, signage should feel refined and reassuring, complementing the architecture and interior design while maintaining clear legibility and professional presentation.
At Neon Studio, we design custom medical clinic signage that balances visibility, brand identity, and patient experience — helping dermatology clinics create a welcoming and professional first impression.
