(About Project)
Located in Dallas, At Fault was conceived as a social-first pickleball venue — part sport, part nightlife, part spectacle. The interior is intentionally busy and kinetic, filled with bold patterns, constant motion, and overlapping sightlines that mirror the pace of play on the courts. The challenge was clear: create a signage system that could hold its own in a loud, fast-moving environment while still guiding guests effortlessly through the space. Signage needed to feel energetic without becoming chaotic — visible without adding friction.

(Solution)
Working closely with Workshop Studio, we designed and delivered a layered signage program spanning exterior visibility, interior focal points, and intuitive wayfinding. Two large-scale front-lit exterior signs establish presence from both the street and nearby highway, anchoring the venue at an urban scale. Inside, a front-lit bar sign acts as a visual and social landmark overlooking the courts, helping orient guests within the space. A cohesive system of wayfinding, washroom, and secondary signage supports movement throughout the venue. Each element was designed for instant legibility — bold enough to cut through visual noise, but controlled enough to feel intentional and considered within the architecture.

(Result)
The signage system gives At Fault a clear and confident physical identity in Dallas. From highway visibility to in-venue navigation, signage supports movement, flow, and social energy without overpowering the space itself. The result is a venue that feels loud, alive, and easy to navigate — signage designed to perform under pressure, just like the game on the court.

(Signage Insights)
Restaurant signage plays a key role in attracting guests and establishing the tone of the dining experience before customers even step inside. The right signage helps restaurants stand out on busy streets while communicating the brand’s personality and atmosphere.
Common restaurant signage elements include:
Exterior storefront signage that clearly identifies the restaurant and draws attention from passing foot traffic
Blade signs or projecting signage that improve visibility along busy streets
Illuminated signage that maintains visibility in the evening and nighttime hours
Interior signage and wayfinding that supports a smooth guest experience throughout the space
Great restaurant signage balances visibility with atmosphere, ensuring the signage complements the architecture and interior design of the restaurant.
At Neon Studio, we design custom restaurant signage that enhances street presence while reinforcing the character and identity of each dining concept.
